We were at Swande this morning, a small island near the top of the bay. After breakfast I went for a snorkel from the tender. It was lovely, fairly deep and clear with lots of small fish. The only downside was that they kept us in a smallish area because the wind and waves outside that were a bit strong, which meant it was fairly dense with swimmers.
By the time we got back to the ship late morning it was raining and the weather was closing in. So the visit to the island after lunch was cancelled and the ship headed off. Through the afternoon the swell picked up and I was glad to be sitting down for most of it.
I have sent Lynn off to the briefing on tomorrow's activities and to dinner so I can stay as horizontal as possible. The swell hasn't reduced yet and lying flat is always easiest.
While I was trying to upload this post, Lynn returned from dinner to tell me the sea is starting to calm and I might have been the only one to miss the meal.
